My heart aches, and a drowsy numbness pains
My sense, as though of hemlock I had drunk,
Or emptied some dull opiate to the drains
One minute past, and Lethe-wards had sunk

I cannot see what flowers are at my feet,
Nor what soft incense hangs upon the boughs,
But, in embalmed darkness, guess each sweet

Up the hill-side; and now 'tis buried deep
In the next valley-glades:
Was it a vision, or a waking dream?
Fled is that music:--Do I wake or sleep?

或者．像拾穗人越过小溪，
你昂首背着谷袋，投下倒影，
或者就在榨果架下坐几点钟，
你耐心地瞧着徐徐滴下的酒浆。

当波状的云把将逝的一天映照，
以胭红抹上残梗散碎的田野，
这时啊，河柳下的一群小飞虫

1816年发表处女作《哦，孤独》
英国浪漫主义诗人济慈，1795年10月29日生，1821年2月病逝，只活了25岁。他的一生是短暂的，但却留下了不少壮丽的诗篇，为英国和世界文学宣言增添了光辉。 约翰·济慈的父亲是出租车马的马房饲养员，地位低微，家道贫寒。他还没到15岁，父母双亡，他和两弟一妹在亲友的照管下成长，生活很贫困。他自幼酷爱文学，但不满16岁就离开学校去跟一个医生学学徒，1816年获得助理医师资格。这一年，他认识了李·亨特和雪莱等作家，由于对文学的酷爱，使他弃医从文，走上了写作的道路。1816年5月，他在亨特主编的《探究者》上发表了第一首诗作《呵，孤独》。1817年，他在雪莱的帮助下，出版了第一本诗集《诗歌》。 1818年，是济慈整个生活的转折点。这一年，他发表了长诗《安迪米恩》。从1818年末到1820年初，他先后写出了长诗《拉米亚》、《依莎贝拉》、《圣亚尼节的前夕》、《海坡里安》等。他最著名的《夜莺颂》、《希腊古瓮颂》、《秋颂》、《忧郁颂》都是这个时期的作品，这些诗表现了济慈所独有的对大自然的感爱、想象以及生动表现这一切的卓越才华。
